Meek Mill Teams Up with Leslie Grace on ‘Conga’ Remake

While fans await his upcoming album, Meek Mill is holding them over with new music.

On his first drop of 2021, the Dream Chasers boss joins forces with Latin Grammy-nominated singer and In the Heights star Leslie Grace on a remake of Gloria Estefan’s 1985 hit “Conga,” the first and only official remake of the Latin dance classic in 30 years.

The Boi-1da-produced track is part of Bacardí’s new “Conga Feat. You” campaign. The 30-second ad spot will air during Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7. The accompanying music video was shot in the Caribbean and incorporates fan-submitted dance moves with cameos from model Jasmine Sanders, viral street-dance performer Lil Buck, and the song’s original producer, Emilio Estefan.

In November, Meek dropped his Quarantine Pack EP featuring appearances from Lil Durk, Vory, and 42 Dugg. He is now working on a new album, his first since 2018’s Championships. He also reportedly teamed up with Drake to shoot a video in the Bahamas earlier this month.
