Azealia Banks Really Regrets Voting for Donald Trump

Azealia Banks is really regretting casting her vote for Donald Trump in the latest presidential election.

It appears Donald Trump’s latest presidential bid isn’t going as the Harlem, N.Y. rapper thought it would when she voted for the controversial Commander-in-Chief last November. On Wednesday (April 16), Banks expressed regret about the decision.

“Ok I think it’s time everyone who voted for Trump admit that we made a f**king mess,” Banks tweeted below. “Like this is an absolute disaster.”

The first 90 days of Trump’s presidency have been filled with desputed decisions, including plans to dismantle the Department of Education, and more recently, the threat of global tariffs that have sent the stock market into a rollercoaster.

“He’s so petty and vindictive rn,” Banks added in a follow-up post. “Tbh, rightfully so, but not when the wellbeing and livelihood of billions of people – damn near the entire world lay in ur hands . Someone needs to get him a cute little lorazepam rx and a high grade ashwaganda supplement because it can’t happen like this. Nobody on earth is afraid of crazy old white man anger. Old white men need to reinvent the archetype because it’s too predictable. Like China is just DUNKING on everyone right now.”

Banks is one of several rappers who were throwing their support behind Trump in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. In fact, she had been team Trump going back as far as 2016 during The Donald’s first run for POTUS. The rapper had fans scratching their heads when she insisted she would vote for presidential hopeful Kamala Harris in the days leading up to the 2024 election. However, a day after election day, she tweeted: “Lmao I lied, I voted for Trump yesterday.”
