Real Boston Richey Arrested for Violating Pretrial Release

Real Boston Richey has been arrested in Florida for possibly violating the pretrial release conditions of his federal drug conspiracy case.
Real Boston Richey Taken Into Custody
On Monday (April 14), United States Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick ordered the rapper, born Jalen Foster, to be remanded into custody. The possible violation stems from Richey traveling outside of North Florida to Texas without getting prior permission in March.
“There was no tour date scheduled for March 29-30, 2025,” the court ruling reads. “Defendant did not have any travel preapproved with PTS for March 29-30th. Defendant did not request approval for any travel to Houston, Texas on or around March 29-30th. But on March 29-30th, Defendant was in Houston.”
The ruling also cites Richey being accused of assaulting his pregnant ex-girlfriend Tatiana “Chanell” Charles outside a Houston club on March 31. She has pressed charges against the rapper for Assault Family Violence – Impeding Breathing, claiming he choked her outside a Houston venue.
“The complaint is sufficient to establish probable cause for the new felony offense in violation of state law,” the ruling continues. “Therefore, there is a rebuttable presumption “that no condition or combination of conditions will assure that [Defendant] will not pose a danger to the safety of any other person or the community.”
Real Boston Richey is currently being held in the Tallahassee Federal Correctional Institute.
