Alessia Cara – You Let Me Down

Toronto’s own Alessia Cara teams up with Dario in her new music video titled “You Let Me Down” off of her project In The Meantime.

Alessia might not be a hip-hop artist but she is Canadian and has been taking over the music industry from “Here” which put her on the map to Logic’s 1-800-273-8255 in where she was featured along with Khalid in 2017. Alessia has been releasing music consistently and has yet to disappoint.

This new record “You Let Me Down” is a deep song about past relationships in which no matter how hard she tries to run away from them, they’re always still lingering in the background. The Dario-directed music video features Alessia interacting with ghosts that represent those relationships, Dario put together staged dates that represented even while Alessia was in those relationships she felt like her partner was more of a ghost in the relationship. We’ve all be there and this was represented so well.

Dario has been on our radar for a few years now and this visual is one of the reasons why his come up has been amazing and getting a placement such as this one.. Is one for the books.
